...It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Christmas Eve Bo and Anna had to put out the "reindeer food." It's a mixture of oats, and sprinkles! The oats are for the reindeer to eat and the sprinkles are so they can find our house!

as you can see, it was a big hit!!

Christmas morning marked the arrival of our newest addition....Blu the dog! Blu went in and woke Bo up.

this was Bo thanking daddy for a "real live dog!"

dog kisses!

!Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night

The Happiest Place on Earth!

This is the second time we've taken a family vacation to Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground! The first time, I was pregnant with Anna, so this time she was actually able to participate! LOL As it got closer to the day we were to leave and head east, a cold front approached. The first night (we heard the weather report the next morning) the low was 37. We slept in tents and sleeping bags. Needless to say IT WAS COLD!!!

I think we may have slept in ALL of our clothes that first night! Once it became daylight, we got ready and headed to the Magic Kingdom! We had lunch at the Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends.
Bo caught his first Bass......
got to ride "Nemo" the pony again......

and if this isn't just the cutest thing you've ever seen.........
they held hands almost every where they went!!

Animal Kingdom......

Hollywood Studios (formerly known as MGM) we had lunch with JoJo and Goliath (JoJo's Circus) and Leo and June from the Little Einsteins!

Anna was afraid of every single character that came around....this is about as close to a picture with a character we got this trip! June tried really hard to get a hug from Anna, but it's pretty clear who her heart belongs to!
to the beach.......
the playground.......

the campfire........and finally leaving to go back home.

Giving Thanks!

Thanksgiving was quiet at our house this year. Just the four of us and Rob's Mom. We had all the traditional fare (turkey, in-the-bird stuffing, cranberry stuff, mashed potatoes) and, boy oh boy, was it GOOD!! Bo only asked for one thing......apple pie. I asked him to help me with it and Anna had to join in, she couldn't be left out in the cold!!
Then she just wanted the apple.....forget the pie!! LOL

Then my son did something that touched us....we found him in the scrapbook room folding little slips of paper. He asked if daddy would take him on his bike with his backpack full of "cards" and deliver them to the neighbors....
which he did.....to every house! He put all of the cards into his backpack, got on his bike and went to every door. He knocked and if someone answered, he handed them a "card" and said Happy Thanksgiving! Rob said he went to about 20-30 houses. Some people were home, some were not, but he was bound and determined to tell everyone Happy Thanksgiving!

T-Ball!

Bo played his first season of T-Ball this fall. They move them around to all the positions, so they can learn them all, everyone plays, everyone bats around each inning and no one gets out. I know, I know, but they are 4 and 5 just learning.....let them have some fun!! :o)
By the end of the season, they were pitching the kids the ball instead of them using the T. If after 3 or 4 pitches they were struggling, they brought out the T so they could hit it. By the last game, each at bat, Bo hit the pitched ball.

Here he is with Coach Bill getting his year end trophy! He was so proud!! He can't wait for the next season to start!
